Is Finland Safe for Tourists?

Finland consistently ranks among the safest and most peaceful countries in the world, and Rovaniemi is a calm, friendly city. Crime against tourists is very low. The main things to respect are the cold and the winter roads.

General safety

Petty crime is rare, people are honest and helpful, and English is widely spoken. Solo travellers, families and women travelling alone generally feel very comfortable.
