SantaPark is a magical Christmas theme park built inside a cavern beneath the Arctic hills near Rovaniemi. Cosy, whimsical and weatherproof, it's a wonderful family attraction — especially for younger children.
What's inside
- Elf School — earn your elf diploma with fun lessons.
- Gingerbread decorating at Mrs. Gingerbread's bakery.
- The Ice Gallery — beautiful ice sculptures at a chilly -3°C.
- Meet Santa and post a letter at the Magic Train and Angel Studio.
Who is it best for?
SantaPark is aimed squarely at families with younger children, who adore the elves, magic and hands-on activities. It's fully indoors, making it a perfect option on very cold or snowy days.
Tickets and season
SantaPark is a ticketed attraction with seasonal opening (busiest around Christmas). Check current dates and prices before visiting, and book ahead in December.
SantaPark vs Santa Claus Village
They're different places: Santa Claus Village is a free, open-air village on the Arctic Circle, while SantaPark is a ticketed indoor cavern. Many families visit both. Finish the day with an evening aurora tour.
